Aspiring athletes born between 2004 and 2011 are invited to join us at the Ice at the Parks in Arlington, Texas, from late May to late July 2024. Our meticulously curated program encompasses a blend of on-ice mastery, dynamic dryland training, and strategic hockey intelligence sessions. Under the guidance of seasoned coaches and industry experts, participants will refine their skating techniques, hone puck-handling prowess, and deepen their understanding of game strategies.

Moreover, exclusive Zoom calls with junior coaches, general managers, college coaches, and professional players offer unique insights into league dynamics, team profiles, coaching philosophies, and career pathways. For the 2024 Summer Hockey Academy, participants will undergo comprehensive training focused on the following key components:

During the Zoom Calls participants will have the exclusive opportunity to engage in detailed discussions covering various aspects of their respective leagues, teams, coaching philosophies, and career opportunities. Here's an outline of what can be expected:


1. League Overview

  - Coaches and general managers will provide comprehensive insights into the structure, competitiveness, and unique features of their respective junior hockey leagues. This will include information on league regulations, team setups, and how to acquire opportunity within their specific league.


2. Team Profile

  - Participants will gain valuable knowledge about the specific team represented by the coaches and general managers. This will encompass details such as team history, recent achievements, playing style, and the organization's ethos.


3. Coaching Philosophy

  - Coaches will elucidate their guiding principles and coaching philosophies, outlining their approach to player development, team dynamics, and tactical strategies. They may share anecdotes and experiences that shape their coaching methodology.


4. Opportunities within the Team

  - General managers or coaches will highlight the various opportunities available within their team, including tryouts, roster spots, and potential pathways for player advancement. They may discuss scouting processes, player recruitment strategies, and the attributes they value in prospective players.


5. Career Development

  - Coaches and general managers will offer insights into the potential career paths within junior, college or professional hockey, both as players and coaching staff. They may provide guidance on navigating the transition from junior hockey to higher levels of competition, such as collegiate or professional hockey.
